Spa visits are supposed to be very relaxing and make your stress melt away but not at Stonebriar spa. Apparently they do not care about men at all. Having visited spa's all over the world, I know what to expect but when a spa doesn't even live up to minimal expectations, it makes you feel like they are cheating you because they charge above average rates. I left the spa angry and more stressed than when I entered it. Here is how this bad spa experienced unfolded. Upon arriving in the men's locker room, I noticed no one had vacuumed it for a while. It was dirty and had lint, string and fuzz all over the floors. Additionally there were no towels in the men's locker room. So showing before the massage was out. Good thing I had just showed. Before my massage I asked one of the ladies for towels. She said I’ll bring them right away but never returned. No one brought any. I get a nice but average massage without any issues. (She was the only bright spot in the bad experience.) After my massage, I disrobe and discover there still are no towels. I put my robe back on and walk out again to ask for towels for the second time. After a few minutes, they finally bring some. I go back in and I open the door to the steam room and it is cold. I go back out to find another lady to tell her about the steam room being off. She says it’s not working very well and she went to fix it. When it did finally come on, it steamed up the room once and then shut back down. This left me cold and wet. Not at all what a steam should be. So I decided to leave. I have to put a towel down on the floor just to get dressed because it is filthy. This is making me angrier by the minute and undoing all of the good the massage did. As I go to check out, the apathetic employee at the counter by herself directed me to another computer where two employees could not figure out how to check out some lady in front of me who got her nails done. This was the last straw. So now I asked for assistance again and for the manager. The manager is not there. Since this was prepaid by my wife, there was no money to collect and no manager to lodge the complaints with. Stonebriar spa provides very poor experience for men and it is way overpriced. They are not clean and the employees do not care about giving good service.

This is the best spa and service in Frisco and surrounding area..and I'm very selective. If I'm in Frisco, it's Stonebriar Spa. If I'm in San Antonio, it's the Mokara.

Easy online purchase experience. Can't comment on service yet but will revisit when my wife has the appt.

This is by far the best spa in our area. The dressing rooms, showers, and amazing steam room are clean and luxurious. The relaxation room and staff are very nice. A true spa experience. I have had facials, waxing and massage done here and have never been disappointed.

The only thing I would have liked is to see the exterior of the building. I'm buying a gift from out of state for my sister in Dallas and want to know she's going someplace with curb appeal.

Great, except that after I clicked on the terms and conditions link, did not see the way to get back to confirm purchase screen, so ended up knocking myself off the site and had to start over (except did retain my updated credit card info)

Love this spa. I start feeling relaxed the moment I walk through the big red double doors. It hits all your senses, smell, sight, sound, and touch. I still leave feeling relaxed even after a brazilian. Carrie~
